Flying on an Eurofighter Typhoon.
Trapani, Italy. 2017

“The Eurofighter Typhoon is the most sophisticated and advanced European fighter, and since 2005 he has defended the Italian sky everyday, 24/7. In case of emergency, called “scramble”, it flies up in the sky as if it were a rocket, its speed is twice the sound one: a human centrifuge which makes you feel part of another planet. An alien. If you want to get on board “as a guest” you need to pass a medical examination, attend briefings and know how to deal with an Anti-G overall and an ejector seat. Commissioned by Aeronautica Militare to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the fighters in Italy this shooting took place over the Sicilian sea flying on the planes of the XVIII Gruppo Caccia - 37° Stormo of the Trapani-Birgi airport.”
